Motherhood
I was up the other night until 1:30am agonizing over what to enroll my 4 1/2 year old daughter in, 2 dance classes and which ones, gymnastics, with which friends, etc. Everything starts this WEEK! Ugggh! I'm insane and all she cares about is being with her friends and playing. She is still just 4 my hubby reminded me. For those non-moms, all you want to do as a mother is expose them to things but without making your life her life and exhausting both mother and daughter simultaneously. My endless need to please everyone all the time is gonna kill me. I am building my narrative script for my foray into documentary filmmaking "AMERICAN MOM" and for my stand-up comedy routine to be seen next year on COMEDY CENTRAL.
It is the end of her break between summer camp and school which she starts her last year of preschool...don't remind me, I willl start to cry. It's been an ideallyic childhood for her so far and the wildest ride of my life to date. She starts Pre-K this week and I get back to the crazy, crazy grind that is my life of creating, writing and charting new territory. I will miss her endless questions and sarcastic judgemental comments. She is the reincarnation of my mother living and breathing with me on a daily basis.
Coming Soon...Look for more on this actress & mother's quest to lose 20 lbs (yikes, that's a lot!), add an addition to her home, write/make a documentary film about american motherhood.
